About This Experience

Vietnam is a country of striking contrasts, ancient temples beside modern cities, mist-covered mountains rising above rice terraces, and quiet fishing villages along a luminous coastline. This journey begins in Hanoi, where colonial boulevards, sacred pagodas, and vibrant street life create a city that feels layered with history and culture. From there we venture into the dramatic landscapes of Ninh Binh, where limestone mountains rise from emerald rivers and ancient temples rest quietly in the valleys.

In the cool highlands of Sapa, terraced rice fields cascade across the hillsides and hill-tribe communities maintain traditions passed down for generations. The journey then shifts south to the coast, where the beaches and jungle-covered mountains of Da Nang offer a completely different rhythm.
Along the way we experience Vietnam through moments both grand and intimate—from cable-car journeys above the clouds and lantern-lit evenings in Hoi An to quiet mountain walks through terraced fields.

Day-by-Day Overview

1. BINDING AGREEMENT; INCORPORATION OF SITEWIDE TERMS

The terms and conditions set forth in this agreement (the “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding contract between you (the “Traveler,” “Participant,” or “you”) and Big Beautiful Dream, Inc., d/b/a Va Beau (“Va Beau,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By completing a booking, submitting payment, or checking the “I Agree” box on our website, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement in its entirety. This Agreement expressly incorporates by reference the Va Beau Sitewide Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Affiliate Compensation Disclosure found at https://vabeau.com.

You acknowledge that certain services included in your Journey are provided by independent third-party Suppliers who may have separate terms, policies, or participation requirements. Where such Supplier-specific terms are disclosed to you at or before booking, those terms apply to the applicable service. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a Supplier’s specific operational terms relating solely to that service, the Supplier’s operational terms shall govern only with respect to that service.

This Agreement further incorporates: (i) any itinerary materials, booking confirmations, or policies disclosed at checkout; and (ii) any waivers, releases, rules, or participation requirements imposed by Va Beau or any Supplier (including without limitation activity waivers, property rules, and safety protocols).

Where applicable, execution of Va Beau’s Release & Waiver of Liability and/or a Supplier’s waiver may be a condition of participation. If you do not execute required waivers or comply with participation requirements, you may be deemed to have cancelled and standard cancellation terms will apply, subject to applicable law.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL PROVISIONS HEREIN, YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING OUR SERVICES.

2. OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY; INDEPENDENT SUPPLIERS; PLATFORM INFRASTRUCTURE

Va Beau designs, curates, and arranges travel experiences fulfilled and operated by independent third-party suppliers, including without limitation destination management companies, hotels, villa operators, transportation providers, activity operators, and local guides (collectively, “Suppliers”). All transportation, accommodations, activities, and other travel services included in your Journey are owned, operated, and controlled by these independent Suppliers.

Independent Status. Suppliers are independent contractors and are not agents, employees, partners, joint venturers, or representatives of Va Beau. Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, agency, fiduciary, or employment relationship between Va Beau and any Supplier.

No Operational Control. Va Beau does not own, manage, supervise, control, or operate any travel services and does not direct the day-to-day operations, safety protocols, staffing, equipment, transportation, or facilities used by Suppliers. Va Beau’s role is limited to designing itineraries, curating experiences, facilitating reservations, and coordinating bookings.

Technology Intermediaries. Va Beau may utilize third-party reservation platforms, itinerary management systems, or payment infrastructure providers to facilitate booking, payment processing, or administrative management of your Journey. Such technology providers act solely as intermediaries or infrastructure providers and do not operate, control, or deliver travel services.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VA BEAU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, FINANCIAL LOSS, DELAY, CANCELLATION, OR OTHER LOSS RESULTING FROM THE ACTS, OMISSIONS, NEGLIGENCE, OR MISCONDUCT OF ANY SUPPLIER OR THIRD PARTY.

Va Beau selects Suppliers based on aesthetic, experiential, and brand alignment criteria; however, Va Beau does not conduct safety inspections, financial audits, or operational supervision of Suppliers and does not warrant, guarantee, insure, or assume responsibility for the performance, safety, solvency, or conduct of any Supplier. Your legal recourse for operational performance, safety, or service delivery lies with the applicable Supplier.

2A. NO FIDUCIARY DUTY; NO RELIANCE

You acknowledge and agree that Va Beau acts solely as an independent travel platform and arranger of travel services and does not act as a fiduciary, financial advisor, travel advisor, insurer, or guarantor on your behalf. While Va Beau may provide curated recommendations, editorial content, or suggested itineraries, you acknowledge that you are not relying on Va Beau as the sole basis for any travel, safety, financial, or personal decisions. You are solely responsible for independently evaluating whether a Journey or activity is suitable for you.

3. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF HAZARDS

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: I, the Traveler, am aware of and acknowledge that there are risks of injury, illness, death, and property damage inherent to traveling and specifically to the Activities included in a Va Beau Journey. I am also aware that all such risks may result from, among other causes, the acts, omissions, negligence, recklessness, or failure to act of independent Suppliers, transportation providers, property owners, other participants, or third parties, owners, operators, officers, independent contractors, representatives, and agents (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Releasees”).

I am voluntarily allowing myself to engage in all of the activities that are planned or that may be offered on the Program with knowledge that the risk of injury, illness, death, or property damage, and other associated risks, and assume any and all known and unknown risks of injury, illness, death, and property damage that may result from my participation. I acknowledge that international and domestic travel may involve risks including political instability, crime, health hazards, acts of terrorism, governmental restrictions, and other unforeseeable events. I certify that I am physically and medically fit to participate in the Journey and have no condition that would create undue risk to myself or others. I understand that Va Beau does not provide medical advice or medical supervision. I further assume all risks associated with my participation including, without limitation, the risk of any negligence or recklessness or failure to act, by me or by other participants or other individuals or parties, and the risk of injury caused by the condition of any property, facilities, or transportation used during the Program.

4. RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE

I, voluntarily and without reservation, and realizing the full legal significance of my action, hereby waive, renounce and release, on behalf of myself, my heirs and my estate, all claims of whatever nature against the Releasees and any third party suppliers or operators providing services in the Program, including but not limited to claims of any injury, illness, loss, damage, accident, delay, irregularity or expense. Further, I accept personal responsibility for any injury (including personal injury, disability or death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability or expense, of any kind or nature that I or my property may suffer and I agree to release the Releasees from any and all liability arising from any such risks, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE RELEASED PARTIES’ OWN NEGLIGENCE, RECKLESSNESS, OR FAILURE TO ACT.

5. MANDATORY TRAVEL INSURANCE

Comprehensive travel insurance is an essential condition of traveling with Va Beau and is strongly recommended for all Participants. Your policy should include coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and emergency evacuation. Va Beau’s Cancellation Policy is strictly enforced. Most types of travel insurance are only available within a short period of time after booking (often 14–21 days). Va Beau strongly recommends that you purchase travel-related insurance as that may be your only recourse if you are unable to participate.

6. FINANCIAL TERMS AND CALIFORNIA TRUST ACCOUNT

All payments must be made in United States Dollars (USD). California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. Traveler funds are held in a dedicated Client Trust Account for your protection and are disbursed to Suppliers in accordance with the terms of your Journey. While funds are held in a dedicated Client Trust Account as required by California law, such funds constitute payment toward your Journey and are disbursed in accordance with applicable booking and Supplier terms.

7. JOURNEY PRICING, INCLUSIONS, AND EXCLUSIONS

The Journey price includes only those services expressly identified as included in your specific digital itinerary. Va Beau uses professional judgment to hand-select Suppliers and experiences that align with our intentional and aesthetic standards. You acknowledge that travel experiences are inherently variable; variations from imagery or descriptions due to environmental or seasonal factors do not constitute a breach of this Agreement. Pricing is subject to change based on currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or supplier price increases until the Journey is paid in full. Va Beau shall not be liable for increases resulting from currency exchange rate fluctuations beyond its control. Va Beau and its Suppliers reserve the right to make non-material modifications to itineraries, including substituting accommodations, transport style, or services with those of an equivalent or similar standard. You agree that such substitutions do not constitute a ‘material modification’ of the Journey and do not entitle the Traveler to a refund or cancellation. Furthermore, internal or in-country flights are included only if expressly listed as an inclusion; otherwise, all local airfare remains the sole responsibility of the Traveler.

8. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND FINAL SETTLEMENT

Once a Booking is confirmed, all cancellations and refund eligibility are governed strictly by the specific Supplier policy disclosed at checkout. Where Supplier policies apply, refunds are contingent upon and limited to the amounts, if any, actually returned by the Supplier. The receipt of such recovered amounts (less non-recoverable processing and administrative fees) shall constitute a full and final settlement of all claims against Va Beau. Chargebacks: You agree to contact Va Beau to attempt in good faith to resolve any billing dispute before initiating a chargeback. If you initiate a chargeback that is determined to be improper, you agree to reimburse Va Beau for chargeback fees, administrative costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred in responding. Initiating a chargeback does not relieve you of your payment obligations under these Terms or applicable Supplier policies.

9. FORCE MAJEURE AND UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

Neither Va Beau nor its Suppliers shall be deemed in breach of this Agreement for failures resulting from Force Majeure (acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions). In Force Majeure circumstances, Va Beau may offer rescheduling, partial performance, or credits in lieu of refunds depending on what is recoverable from Suppliers. Any credit issued shall be subject to the underlying Supplier’s recovery terms and may be subject to limitations imposed by that Supplier. Any travel credits issued must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of the original Journey start date.

10. TRAVELER CONDUCT & COMMUNITY COMMITMENT (THE TRAVELER PROMISE)

Va Beau is dedicated to creating an environment of mutual respect. By booking, you promise to:

  • Uphold Global Citizenship: Maintain an environment of respect, tolerance, and open-mindedness to different cultures and customs.
  • Respect the Community: Treat Va Beau staff, hosts, global partners, and fellow travelers with respect.
  • Time & Information: Review all travel documents and entry requirements immediately; you must notify Va Beau of any inaccuracies (such as name misspellings or date errors) within 7 days of receipt. Va Beau is not responsible for supplier change fees or airline penalties resulting from errors not reported within this timeframe.
  • Patience & Trust: Acknowledge that travel can be unpredictable. Trust that Va Beau is doing everything possible to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Anti-Discrimination: Va Beau prohibits all unlawful discrimination and harassment.
  • Violations: Violations of these tenets will result in immediate termination of participation in the Journey without refund.

11. OPERATIONAL & TRIP-PLANNING GUIDELINES

Va Beau’s business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PST. While we monitor active travels 24/7 for emergencies, we ask that you respect standard business hours for general requests. Please provide ample lead time for trip planning. Va Beau reserves the right to decline assistance when we do not have the lead time required to execute a request that meets our standards of excellence. While we advocate for our travelers, we must respect our global partners’ policies. We cannot waive Supplier cancellation fees for any reason. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you possess a valid passport (with appropriate validity beyond travel dates), required visas, health documentation, and compliance with all entry and exit requirements of each destination.

If you have a concern during your Journey, you must immediately notify your Va Beau host or local guide so they can attempt to remedy the situation and ensure the remainder of your experience is enjoyable. Failure to raise a concern while on the Journey will diminish the ability to claim recourse or a remedy. If the issue remains unresolved after your return, you must submit a written statement to care@vabeau.com within 14 days of the Journey’s end date. Va Beau and its partners will evaluate all feedback provided within this timeframe, but we cannot accept liability for claims received after this 14-day period has passed.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DAMAGES

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Va Beau’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you to Va Beau for the specific Journey giving rise to the claim. You agree that the return of the paid Journey cost shall be your sole and exclusive remedy for any default by Va Beau. In no event will Va Beau be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, airfare costs, or other expenses incurred independently of the booked Journey. Va Beau is not responsible for the financial default or insolvency of any Supplier, or for any injuries or losses arising from the condition of any property or transportation used during the Journey

13. INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS

I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Va Beau and the Releasees for all demands, costs, losses, expenses, claims, recoveries, judgments and liabilities (including attorneys’ fees) of any nature arising out of, or in consequence of, my acts, words, conduct, etc. in any way connected with my participation on the Journey including, but not limited to, damage to property, any injuries or death sustained by any person(s), including myself. I expressly understand that Va Beau is providing only limited facilitation or supervision and that I am responsible for my individual conduct, health and safety at all times.

14. Dispute Resolution, Binding Arbitration, and Class Action Waiver.

You agree to first contact Va Beau at care@vabeau.com and attempt to resolve any dispute informally and in good faith before initiating formal proceedings. Except for disputes in small claims court or for injunctive relief, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or any Journey shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis administered by the AAA or JAMS in Los Angeles County, California, and conducted in the English language. This agreement to arbitrate shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and applicable law, and the arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation or enforceability of this provision. All claims must be brought solely in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. YOU AND VA BEAU KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY. I hereby submit to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in California and waive any objection to venue. Each party shall bear its own attorneys’ fees and costs unless otherwise required by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim must be commenced within one year after the claim arises or it is permanently barred. This entire section survives the termination of these Terms or the conclusion of your relationship with Va Beau.

Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.
