About This Experience

This journey explores Thailand through three very different landscapes: the creative pulse of Bangkok, the art-filled mountain landscapes of Khao Yai, and the spiritual cultural heart of Chiang Mai.

From canal journeys through Bangkok’s historic waterways to contemporary sculpture gardens in the countryside and sacred temples in the mountains of northern Thailand, the experience balances cultural discovery with time to slow down and absorb the atmosphere of each destination.

Along the way you’ll encounter vibrant markets, hidden creative districts, ethical wildlife experiences, and the deep spiritual traditions that shape everyday life in Thailand.

Day-by-Day Overview

Day 1: Bangkok | Arrival & Settling In

Welcome to Bangkok — a city that hums with life from the moment you land. After a private airport transfer to your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to exhale. Maybe a quiet dinner, maybe a stroll along the river, maybe nothing at all. Let the sounds of long-tail boats and the glow of temple lights be your first introduction to Thailand.

Every detail—from accommodations to daily experiences—is arranged specifically for your group, creating a journey that feels personal, seamless, and deeply connected to the destination.

Your Guides & Hosts

We work with a private network of local insiders—people who know the soul and rhythm of their surroundings. They’re your bridge to the rituals, landscapes, and hidden corners that most travelers never see.

Throughout the journey you’ll be accompanied by experienced local guides and cultural experts who bring Thailand’s history, traditions, and daily life into focus. On select departures, a Va Beau host may also join the journey, helping shape the experience and deepen the connections along the way.

We recommend waiting for confirmation before booking flights or ensuring airfare is refundable.

Arrival & Departure

Arrival Airport

Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Bangkok
We recommend arriving in Bangkok with enough time to settle in before your first evening in the city.

Departure Airport

Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX)
We recommend booking departure flights after midday to allow for a relaxed final morning and airport transfer.

The Solo Sanctuary

If you’re traveling on your own, a $2,450 single supplement guarantees your own private room throughout the journey.
These rooms are limited and tend to fill quickly, so we recommend reserving early.

Travel Insurance (Mandatory)

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. Your policy should cover medical and repatriation expenses, personal injury, accidental death, loss of baggage/money, and trip cancellation.
If participating in adventurous activities, please ensure your policy specifically covers these pursuits.
